I love the contrast between power and softness, heightened stature and quiet elegance, and light and shadow.
I love the way there is sunlight and clouds, and the way the light shines and expose one side of her face and the way the clouds are a powerful backdrop behind her. It's a very strong image and meets my expectation when I judge competitions: it punches me in the gut right off the bat and takes my breath away!

I really love the emotion in this wedding image...I can almost feel what they are feeling and that is a hard thing to photograph Even though they are posed, everything feels and reads in such a genuine way. KUDOS to the photographer!

The child's gaze s what really draws me in and even though this is an extremely tight crop, I still get a ton of information in the young child's eye, the embrace and in the expression on the mom's face. Even though we don't see her full face, we see everything we need to see to get the feeling and emotion of the image coming through.
