The Workshop Details
As a boudoir photographer, I always look for unique ways to showcase my work and help others improve their skills. That's why I organized a Las Vegas outdoor boudoir workshop on March 7th. The location was in the desert, a few hours before sunset, and the experience was nothing short of magical.
The workshop was part of my "She is Fire" boudoir course, which teaches photographers how to create stunning outdoor boudoir images. I wanted to show my students how I shoot in harsh light and how to make the best use of any kind of light. The workshop also covered how to pose women outdoors, which is one of my strengths.
The workshop had two models, and the attendees were able to use the images they produced for their portfolios and social media. It was an amazing opportunity to learn, network, and have fun with like-minded individuals.

The Upcoming Workshop in Arizona
Due to the overwhelming success of the Las Vegas workshop, I will be organizing another one in September in Arizona. It will take place at an outdoor location in Phoenix Az September 10th and early birds will get a special price, and it will be first come first served.

Jasmin's workshop changed the way I think about posing my clients. I've been shooting boudoir for over two years, and I knew that something was missing in my photos. I craved movement, emotion, and a rawness to my photos that I wasn't sure how to achieve. I was spending so much time worrying about posing every single part of my client's body that I lost sight of the true beauty of boudoir: connecting with yourself. I stumbled across Jasmin's Facebook group and saw her images; they were exactly what I wanted to emulate in my own photography! When I saw that she was hosting a workshop in Vegas I didn't even need to think about it...I jumped at the opportunity. I'm so glad that I did! Watching Jasmin show how she would pose clients gave my visual-learning brain a chance to grasp the entire posing process. I learned how to incorporate movement into my sessions, and that also has helped me capture emotion. Not to mention, we had a great time learning how to best shoot in harsh sunlight! All of this to say, if you have the opportunity to attend one of Jasmin's workshops, do it! I now shoot more confidently in all lighting situations, and feel ready to help my clients connect with themselves during their sessions through their own unique body language. You won't regret the time spent learning from this wonderful lady!
